GENERAL SUMMARY: Responsible for overseeing all aspects of our overall Injury, Illness Prevention and Occupational Safety/Health Program for our Ohio Campuses and Athleta retail. This includes 2 distribution centers and one call center and Athleta retail stores located throughout the US. Ensures facilities are in compliance with all Gap Inc., local, state, and federal requirements pertaining to workplace health and safety. Conduct detailed analysis and audits of workplace safety and demonstrates the ability to identify unsafe conditions/ actions, develop and implement solutions to prevent employee injuries. Educate, drive safety awareness and implement best practices to reduce risk and exposure.

Bachelor’s degree relating to Safety or Industrial Hygiene preferred. Certified Safety Professional certification with related safety management experience or extensive safety experience in lieu of degree/certification.
 

Experience:

Minimum of 5+ years experience in Occupational Health and Safety or related field within a distribution or manufacturing environment, preferred.
